Adventures in Spookiness

Updated: Apr 26, 2019

Tis the season to get spooky!

I haven't had to look far in Chicago to get some quality ghost stories for Halloween!

For the last few months I've been rehearsing with Birch House Theatre for their fully immersive haunted house show Cursed: An American Tragedy. This cast is incredible; the talent and dedication from all the actors and the tirelessness of the director Lauren Fields are astounding. This show is a testament to the grit and ability of Chicago theatre to produce quality original stories, and I'm so proud of what this company and cast have produced.

The show opens November 1st and goes until the 17th. It performs every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 7:00 PM at the Berger Park Mansion. Fifteen actors on fifteen individual tracks will take over both floors of the mansion, trading secrets with the audience, and transcending time and space to lift an old, sinister family curse. It's definitely not to be missed!

I will be narrating the show, and I get to explore the best rooms of the mansion-- if I do say so myself. I really hope to see you there!
